The Chancery Rosewood
Set in Eero Saarinen’s former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, The Chancery Rosewood debuts eight restaurants and bars - headlined by Restaurant Tobi Masa, Chef Masayoshi Takayama’s new London arrival, alongside Serra’s southern-Mediterranean dining, GSQ’s street-facing deli, Jacqueline’s flower-inspired afternoon tea and the Eagle Bar, a rooftop bar with Hyde Park views.
Our Key Contributions
For a landmark address like The Chancery Rosewood, the brief was clear: respect the history and deliver for service. Working as part of a wider project team, we helped shape the tabletop direction and supplied a significant share of the front of house pieces - all designed to integrate with the interiors, not overshadow them. Respecting retained embassy details, we curated additions that complemented the existing palette and celebrated the building’s rich history, taking cues from the joinery, metalwork and soft furnishings throughout, keeping forms calm and finishes tactile.
Our involvement centred on curating select front-of-house essentials for the various outlets; our primary focus being on Tobi Masa, for which we worked with Sofia Ceramics to create an entirely bespoke range of key pieces to run throughout service. Additionally, for the signature penthouses, 'Elizabeth and Charles', we worked to a detailed interiors brief, then partnered with Duchess China 1888 to develop fully bespoke fine bone china dinnerware for each space.
Cutlery, lighting and various other front-of-house essentials were specified, sourced and delivered, with end-to-end logistics, quality control and a simple re-order process to maintain consistent stock across outlets.
