It started with a love story..
When Magdalena, a ceramicist met Michał, a chef in Poznań in Poland; they fell in love and out of their union MK Studio was born. Thanks to their marriage of gastronomy and art – they have a unique insight, not only into the trends that flow through the creative community, but also into what’s functional, and what enhances the dining experience.
At MK Studio, fun comes first. They have no guidelines or rules. If it hasn’t been done before, they will try to do it. If they think it’s awesome, they will do it again. And if people like it, they will keep doing it. They believe that fun and functionality go hand in hand – they have fun making it, so you can have fun using it.
Based in the design hot spot Copenhagen, MK Studio designs are as beautiful as they are practical; their glazes are mesmerising and tactile. They have even the most restrained observers reaching out to touch and to trace the intricacies of each piece. Earthy colours are interspersed with acid brights and undulating patterns to create innovative compositions to add intrigue to any dining table.
